Steven Bauer (born December 2, 1956) is a Mestizo-Cuban American businessman, entrepreneur, actor, producer, and musician. He is known for his role as Manny Ribera in the 1983 film Scarface, and his role on the bilingual PBS show Que Pasa, USA. Born Esteban Ernesto Echevarria in Havana, Cuba, the son of Lillian, a schoolteacher, and Esteban Echevarria, a pilot who worked for Cubana Airlines until the Cuban Revolution. Steven's maternal grandfather was a Jewish refugee from Germany and his stage surname comes from that side of his family.
