William Laster is a retired American professional wrestler and trainer, best known for his work in WWF, AWA, and various promotions in Mexico and Japan during the 1980s and 1990s. He began his career in 1974 and became known for his role as an enhancement talent in WWF, facing big names like Randy Savage and Bret Hart. In 1986, he became the first WWA World Heavyweight Champion and worked under the name Black Knight in WWF in 1988. After retiring from wrestling in 1996, he focused on training wrestlers and published several books about his career and professional wrestling.
