Bill Tabb is a retired American professional wrestler, best known as The Black Assassin. He competed in several wrestling promotions during the 1980s, including Jim Crockett Promotions, Florida Championship Wrestling, and the AWA. He made his debut in 1985 and faced opponents such as Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, and Ron Simmons. In 1987, he adopted the masked persona of The Black Assassin, managed by Oliver Humperdink. He was also involved in a controversial storyline in the AWA with the racist character Colonel DeBeers. Throughout his career, he wrestled under various names such as The Blade Warrior and The Black Prince, before retiring in 1998.
