Pierre Lefebvre was a French-Canadian professional wrestler known as Mad Dog. He debuted in 1972 in Montreal, briefly left wrestling to work as a welder, and returned in 1975. He wrestled in Atlanta (GCW), then on the West Coast with the NWA. In 1980, he returned to Montreal, where he won several titles, including the International Heavyweight Championship and seven Canadian International Tag Team titles. He had major feuds with the Rougeaus, Dino Bravo, and others. In 1984, he wrestled in Japan and later appeared in the WWF, mainly at Canadian events. He earned the nickname Mad Dog due to his resemblance to Mad Dog Vachon. He died on December 24, 1985, in a car accident alongside Tarzan Tyler and referee Adrien Desbois. Their car crashed into a tow truck on an icy road in the Laurentides Park. The tragedy shocked the wrestling world, especially happening on Christmas Eve.
