Wang Xin is a renowned animator and the founder of Niwan Star, possessing over sixteen years of extensive experience in IP creative development and CG production. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Art Design from the China Academy of Art and a Master's degree in Computer Art (or Computer Animation) from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in the United States. After completing his undergraduate studies, he worked as a university instructor and professional magazine editor before moving to the US for his graduate studies. Following his graduation, Wang Xin joined the Cinematics Department at Blizzard Entertainment, where he spent 14 years serving as the Character Supervisor and Project Art Director. During his tenure, he was responsible for leading the Blizzard animation team in developing and producing cinematic CG and characters for all of Blizzard's IPs, contributing to the creation of major franchises including World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, Overwatch, StarCraft 2, and Hearthstone. He notably created many Blizzard heroes, such as Kerrigan from StarCraft II and Leah, Cain, and Tyrael from Diablo III, an effort that earned him the Ninth Annual Visual Effects Society (VES) Award for Outstanding Animated Character in a Video Game. In 2017, Wang Xin resigned from Blizzard and returned to China to participate in the production of the animated film "Jiang Ziya" (Legend of Deification), serving as a Co-Director, Executive Director, and Art Director, where he was the lead for the visualization section within the four-person directing team (along with Cheng Teng, Li Wei, and Li Xia). He shares the same name as "Wang Xin" (ID: 1943745) from Luoshui Huayuan, but they are not the same person.
