This is what art means to me
See you in a dream. Feathers tucked to your sides. There in a tree, hazel eyes flicker in my direction. See your lights parked outside. Caught up in the race with time. Lights blinking. Feelings pour out into an open sea. Into more of me. Dancing like a dream. I trust, and I know it’s never over. Rain pours again. It’s getting hard to be someone. Hold my bags, even if they won’t understand. Less is plenty, more is many. Isn’t that what Yeat said? Whispered into echoes through hollow paper chambers in my short term memory. If not for you, I’d never blur my vision again. And in the night I’ll remember the day. Whispering a lovely thank you into the darkness.
