Unable to marry Keriman, the girl he loves, because he cannot make a living, Onur is forced to become the neighborhood headman when his uncle, the headman, becomes paralyzed. Although the locals are not happy with Onur as their muhtar, he and his friends do everything they can to stay in the position.
