Ekis

Ekis Gimenez, a person living with HIV, found purpose in the performing arts. But with the restrictions posed by COVID-19, his connection to the audience and communities is severed. How does he move on? This short documentary looks at the many lives of an HIV-positive artist in a pandemic made worse by the dearth of jobs in live performances – a situation that Ekis Gimenez describes as "worrying about a virus in the midst of another lingering virus."
